How are you feeling? I'm happy and I feel lucky all the time. I appreciate both the people and the things and although I struggle with a couple of things (like postponing 'answering messages') I'm not complaining!
Are you happy? yes!
Are the people nice? I'm incredibly lucky with my flatmates, my colleges are young and open minded people, our international group is big and diverse and few of them are already so precious to me that I can't imagine my (future) life without them! Of course there are people/personalities that don't match well with mine but so far I've been successfully avoiding them ;)
Is the work challenging enough? Depends cause different perspectives = different answers. But yes, I see many challenges and step by step I plan to face them.
Do you miss home? Sorry but no ;)
Those are (the) easy questions with the more or less easy and simple answers. They're the things most of you would ask, am I right? In addition to 'your' questions I will add something more: questions that demand reflection and comparison. Above all, I'm here for a reason. It would be a mistake not to think through my actions and experiences, don't you think?
What problems have you faced already? For me the most challenging thing has been the speed at which i'm living. Sometimes I'm not able to do things properly because I'm rushing from one thing to another. I'm trying to slow down, for instance by writing to-do-lists, but getting ride of the rush isn't going to be easy.
Have you, as a person, changed? Of course I have! Living together with international people in a foreign country that has other rules and habits, influences your thoughts and eventually your behavior. I think, in these two months I've become more patient, more flexible, more easy-going, less stressed and of course: more social.
Do you think you spend your time useful? Since i'm a little in Love with Estonia, I go out quite often - that is, to get to know the city/country. For instance: I walk around and look at the houses, I check out what interesting (2nd hand shops) there are, I treat myself with a coffee + cake, I go hiking in the nature, I meet with my friends... Oh, and I almost forgot: I WORK IN THE YOUTH CENTER also ;)
