Writing a youth exchange

It's been in our minds for a long time and finally it has come to this: we're going to write an international project, a youth exchange in Estonia!

A youth exchange [more]

"Youth Exchanges offer an opportunity for groups of young people from different countries to meet and learn about each other’s cultures. The groups plan together their Youth Exchange around a theme of mutual interest."

And that is exactly what me and my fellow-project writers plan to do! The theme of our project: Communication! We plan to gather 16 people from 4 countries (Estonia, Norway, Poland & Hungary) and give them a great 8-days experience!

Last weekend, we were in Tartu, on a training course about project writing. Many hours we spend on thinking about our project and when returning home, we had created a weekplan, written down our objectives & aims, discussed the topics, made up a budget plan, etc.

Our deadline (to submit the project) is the 2nd of February so I gotta go and write a project!

*** feel free to take a look at the details of the project ***

Key staff consists 3 people, with same ideology and belief of necessity of communication. Together worked out the idea and vision for the project.

One of Health Promotions concerns is mental health of which, one of the main pillars is good communication. Developing and giving guidelines for good communication is a way to secure persons mental health.

Please explain the context and objectives of the activities you are planning and in which way they meet the objectives of the project.
As our main goal is to improve our participants’ communication skills & competences, our activities will be divided into two main categories: With the communication workshops we would like to underline the importance of the basics of communication and with the Advanced Planning Visit (APV) workshops we will be exchanging ideas and opinions regarding the topic with our partner countries. With the adventurous activities, we will provide our participants to have their inner journey, they will be able to see their ways of self endurance, teamwork, feelings, principles and values.
