"Tolerant Thinking Through The Lens"

WHO are those 11 to 16 year old youngsters ? I see some speak Estonian and others Russian but WHY are they coming together to talk about tolerance and HOW will they put that into pictures? It was last week WHEN i joined them, as an English speaking stranger (but luckily now I can say we're friends) and when I came back home I told WHAT we had done: " I had a great time talking, playing games, learning about photography (...)

This project was about bringing together young people from the two big (language) communities in Estonia: Estonian speakers and Russian speakers. 20 youngsters are given the opportunity to mingle and hopefully challenge their stereotypes about 'others'. The project is a cooperation between my youth center and the Russian(speaking) organisation Youth Club Active. It was really interesting, to work with the youth, to set up and lead activities, the see the group dynamics , etc. I'm thankful for this experience!

We had name games, team building tasks,
sharing experiences & expectations
REFLECTION GROUPS , FREE TIME WITH GAMES,
workshops about Tolerance and Discrimination
introduction to PHOTOSHOP
and usage of CAMERA's
movie night,
BOWLING,
Lazer shooting!

They all did a great job!
